Mandate
Together with Bombardier, define the exterior and interior design of a tram for their client Metrolinx and guide the engineering team through the project completion.
Objectives
Our mission was to infuse to this vehicle a sense of fast and flexible mobility. It had to make the Toronto suburb more attractive by bringing the city center to its doorstep, while integrating each of the constraints and requirements imposed by this type of vehicle into a unique, simple, and efficient travel experience.

Approach
With a pragmatic and holistic approach, our design team analyzed the cultural profile of the city of Toronto and the needs of its daily travelers. Thanks to our strong expertise in transportation design, we were able to influence the architecture of the vehicle and translate our design vision within a dynamic, modern, and timeless look.
Our close collaboration with Bombardier and the flexibility of their team allowed us to relocate some mechanical components and thus give the vehicle an attitude relevant to its usage. All while ensuring passengers and drivers a comfortable, safe, reliable, and accessible journey for everyone.
